Thisarrangement can be played with a standard Brass Quintet or a standard WoodwindQuintet. It also may be performed with a mixed ensemble. Substituteparts for Voice 3 (Eb) and Voice 4 (Treble Clef) and Voice 5 (Treble Clef) areprovided. Jari Villanueva has skillfully arranged this holiday selection so it can be played with a variety of ensembles. You can perform this as a Brass or Woodwind Quintet or mix and match to suit your group.

For Brass Quintet: Play the voice parts as indicated.
For Woodwind Quintet: Oboe (voice 2) and Bassoon (Voice 5) should play theupper parts.
For Larger Mixed Ensembles: Alto Saxophone can play the Voice 3 Eb Horn part and TenorSax can play the Voice 4 TC part. Bass Clarinet can play the Voice 5 TC part. ABaritone Sax part is also provided.

A retired member of the United States Air Force Band where he served on the Music Production staff (as well as a trumpeter and bugler) and student of Bill Holcombe, Jari Villanueva continues writing for different ensembles. His arrangements are played by brass quintets all over the country including many military groups. Many of his arrangements can be found on Sheet Music Plus and JV MUSIC.
