I am just learning to play jazz from my instructor. This book is really helping me to understand the chords and how they play into the song.

I have only one problem with this book. I bought it as violin music, but it is for all instruments, so my husband keeps borrowing it to play on trombone. As a result, I have yet to play through all the pieces! The tunes are laid out and followed by...

chord sequences for improvisation, so maybe we could try co-operating. Accompaniments are superb.
