Brant Adams is perhaps the premier orchestrator for church music publishers today. These two volumes for violin and cello continue the “Brant Adams Instrumental Series,” and each includes a Performance/Accompaniment CD. These arrangements reflect his solid understanding of the individual instruments, creative arranging abilities, and a keen awareness of the local church setting shaped by his many years as a practicing church musician.

I love this book! The songs are challenging but after a month I played the first solo as an offertory in church. They loved it. I am now working on others, as this book is the motivation I needed. The music is difficult, some more than others. I love having...

a cd to practice with and not having to find an accompanist.

My husband plays in a semi-professional orchestra, and I've been playing piano for many years, but we both find that these pieces will require considerable practice. This collection might have some beautiful pieces in it, if we could ever learn to play them.
