    Bought this for my 15 year old. She loves it! Wish it was spiral bound though. I'm going to take it to our local print shop and see if they can make it a spiral.

    I bought this book on impulse, and it ended up being a great purchase. There are a wide variety of songs. I wanted a songbook that was easy enough that I could sight read the songs and play to my kids without having to practice. This fit the bill. And...

    my 9 year old loves it as well. He's tackled a few of the songs in the book, and he frequently browses the pages to decide what to tackle next. I like anything that keeps him playing, so it's definitely a win.

  • April 02, 2009 100 great songs of rock easy to use for a group

    My small group of musicians got together last weekend to jam, using this music. The music is fun. Since we all shared the same book and the same stand, it was important that the book opens flat, and the print is large and easy to read. Most of the keys...

    are do-able. We were sight-reading and didn't have to practice to have fun with it. We are all quite experienced musicians and the songs are in our brains already, which helped. I am going to recommend to my group that we get at least one other copy of the book to share.
