    Gorgeous pieces which are simple enough that the lay-listener can appreciate and can be absorbed if being played as background music, yet difficult enough to give students something to strive for and keep out those not willing to put in the effort required. Segovia's fingerings are wonderful, as...

    always, but there is usually still enough space to add your own notations. All pieces are short enough for the advanced practitioner to learn in a day or two and to keep the student from becoming discouraged, yet long enough to delight listeners.
