My quartet loved this song! We each sang a phrase at the beginning of the song, instead of having one soloist. We sang the rest of the song as written. Our chorus was standing behind us listening to our performance and they couldn't tell whose voice was singing which...

line (at the beginning). We received a lot of compliments afterwards. This is definitely a keeper!!

This arrangement is easy and sounds nice. The key change for the last verse is a good touch. If you have male voices you can have them sing the second soprano part an octave down. I found a recording on youtube of a choir singing this arrangement and it helped...

me to get some extra dynamics into the arrangement.

This is a beautiful arrangement of a very popular song. SSAA a cappella was exciting singing it without accompaniment as the harmonies blended very very well. When a group of four of us decided to sing it at a special evening we were quite surprised at what effect it had...

. It brought some people to tears.

Verse 1: Alto solo or unison. Verse 2: SA with melody for the altos. Verse 3: Full SSAA in a higher key. A bit on the short side, might be an idea to stick the SSAA verse in between verse 1 and 2 to make it a bit less "sparse...
