This was a great piece for boys in particular. I loved the energy and 'cheekiness' of it. The section on the second page that introduced the accidentals was a great section that added character. This piece gave enormous teaching scope.

My students (both girls and boys) have enjoyed this wonderful, expressive piece. It starts out mysteriously, and has dramatic moments. It uses the c minor 5 finger position and the lower 5 finger G position with a few finger crosses and a few stretches. I highly recommend this piece for...

those that are at approximately Alfred's level 2.It is pedagogically satisfying to the teacher and fun for student. Great choice for NFMC festival. Also, try Snowflakes Dancing by Mary Leaf.
