has enhanced and completed my tone. I would recommend this book to anyone who needs a warm-up, or all around tone work. Many of the exercises seem easy, but once you can play all the exercises perfectly (towards the end they get very difficult) then your slurring and flexibility must be amazing.It isn't about hitting the notes that makes this book extremely hard, it is about playing the slurs and hard exercises well and consistently. that is why i rate it intermediate-advanced. If you are starting trumpet i would recommend using this from the start! And if you are experiencing fatigue, or loss of ability then start over on this book!
