    Difficulty Level:
  • July 19, 2010 wonderful cd included

This book includes a nice collection of pieces transcribed for cello infirst position. Because of some difficult rythms it is for the 'advanced beginner'. The best part is the included cd, with performance by good musicians- it is really a pleasure to play along with the cellist. Playing with accompaniment...

only I find rather hard, but hopefully I will manage later on ( I am an adult beginner with about two years of cello lessons).

    Difficulty Level:
  • June 18, 2009 Slow Down Software

This is a great collection of cello pieces, but I dont know why the most important aspect of this collection is NOT mentioned: the CD contains new software that allows the student to slow down the piano accompaniment to any tempo without loss of pitch. Anybody who has struggled to...

play at concert tempo with Music Minus One, and ends up playing only adagio movements, knows what a tremendous advantage this is. Be sure to check that this music contains the Slow Down software!
