With gentle grace, this charismatic melody is introduced by your clarinet section, setting into motion one of Gustav Holst's most famous themes, scored here for young concert band. This has to be my favorite classical song. I love how the clarinets have the melody in the beginning. When my band played this song, i was first chair clarinet, so I played the clarinet solo in the end and I think that is a very pretty ending to the...

song. The song is very interesting in the way it has the melody, but then about 2 counter-melodies, and that makes it very interesting t listen to and even more interesting to play. I would recommend this song to anyone who appreciates music.
