This song is very ... interesting. The first movement is an weird compilation of major, minor and chromatic phrases. The second movement is a slower, more flowing version of the first. The third movement is a challenge, consistently switching from 2/4 time to 3/8 time. This happens every other...

measure in the melody. All in all I would recommend this song to any aspiring horn and piano players. This is NOT a horn sonata with piano acompaniment. There is equal horn and piano parts. At first you are going to HATE this song with a burning passion equal to the white hot intensity of 1000 suns, but work through the accidentals and time signature switches and I know you will find a great song that you will fall in love with. 5 Shining Stars!!!!!!!

A great piece for the soloist who is a bit tired of the standard Mozart/Beethoven/Strauss. Modern and rhythmically challenging yet melodic enough to be very listenable.
