  • March 23, 2007 A beautifully lyrical sonata, piano/cello duet.

    You really need a very good pianist to play the third movement (in particular), as there is a lot of interplay between the two instruments. I think the piano part may be more difficult than the cello part. The first and second movements have some beautiful melodies on the cello...

    that you can practise more easily without the piano.
