the standard in music publishing, alas no more. A pity because the Edwin Hughes' edition is fairly good (but not urtext). To add insult to injury, I note already two editing/printing errors--one a wrong note that my teacher's ears immediately picked up! A pity, a fine piece.

I wanted to play this sonata again after many years of not playing my cello. I was very happy to get it at a reasonable price. I had seen one online that cost four times as much!

personal preference. I love this piece of music, it's perfect for the intermediate/advanced performer!

This is the low-budget option for an otherwise terrific piece of music. The paper is bottom grade and barely supports pencil marks. The printing is clear, for the paper's quality, and the fingerings and suggested phrasings are OK.
