Sleigh bells jingle in the voice parts as well as the SoundTrax CD, while the selection moves through interesting counterlines with a festive flair. "ching ching ching a ling ring aling chingalings". (Expect your choir to have plenty of laughs along the way.) The three part harmonies are close but inherently logical - less experienced singers will need some time to master them, but the compelling nature of the work will hold their interest. Despite decades of choral and instrumental work, I had never heard this song and neither had anyone in our choir. It's a wonderful addition to your Christmas repertoire. Check out another bright Christmas winner in Ruth Ellen Shram's arrangement of "Good King Wenceslas" (BriLee Music CF.BL672).

This was a fun and fairly simple song to learn as someone singing for six years. I enjoyed it a lot!
