  • July 18, 2014 Complete Misrepresentation

    This "solo arrangement" is a complete misrepresentation. It is exactly like Rachmaninoff's piano reduction of his 2nd Piano Concerto, but with some sections omitted. No attempt is made to fuse the accompanying orchestral part with the solo piano part, as one would expect in an arrangement.

  • May 28, 2003 Better than previously thought.

    I don't understand why another person felt there was music missing, he must not really be familiar with this concerto. This is an excellent stand-alone version.

    This arrangement doesn't quite seem to have the same feel as the actual concerto. There is much music missing.
