    This Sonata is modern. I love the first movement. It's rhythmically interesting, and there are big skips. It gives you a chance to let it all hang out. The ending is done in the altissimo register. I have to bring it down an octave to play it, but I...

    have a determined student who is working on the high notes. It's an exciting piece. I didn't love the second or third movements though.
