This edition presents one of Gershwin's famous themes in solo form with all of the harmonic richness of the original, but arranged to be more playable for the less-advanced student. There is chromaticism, some jazz rhythm, and lots of dynamic contrast, with chord construction that is not too complex or difficult for smaller hands.

    Wonderful...but anything Gershwin is wonderful. Fingering is great. I just wish there was a little more to it than just the one theme.

    I've always wanted to play Rhapsody in Blue and it has been too difficult to learn however, this particular arrangement is easy to play. It has some challenging spots because of the harmony that Gershwin puts in the music, but it's fun to play and well worth purchasing...

    Looks (and sounds) much more difficult than it really is. Easy to learn, contins most of the main themes. I've purchased multiple copies.
