really quite easy to play. It would be a great resource for adult students as well. I have also assigned it to younger students who are at a Level 1B or 2 with great success! Each piece is more beautiful than the next with smooth melodic lines and enchanting chord progressions. There is some moving of hands so I would rate this as Late-Beginner Literature.

The cornerstone of my music program is the lending library. Each student must take a book a week (at 1 or 2 levels below learning level) and read it cover to cover. This really develops sight reading and the concept of reading for pleasure. Martha Mier is the perfect composer...
