  • January 29, 2012 NOT SUITABLE FOR PERFORMANCE

poor quality print and impossibly small type make this score useless for performance and practice. It's strictly for research. It should be labelled as "NOT SUITABLE FOR PERFORMANCE"

This piece is beautiful. If you have never experienced Messiaen, it may be difficult to approach the piece, but with a bit of research and understanding and practice it makes for a stunningly gorgeous performance. Modern ears love it.

  • October 20, 2008 Accurate score, brilliant piece of music

About the the music itself: what can be said that hasn't been said before? This is one of the most brilliant pieces of the 20th Century. Messiaen is a genius. About the score: to my knowledge, it's completely accurate, legible, and worth the money.

  • March 07, 2007 Messiaen sings again

This music is just so nifty to LOOK at in score. The unusual meters and chromaticism make for beautiful pages. The music is Messiaen, those who know his music need no further description. Of particular beauty is the slow movement for cello solo (also is part of "Fetes des Belles...

Eaux" for 6 Ondes Martenots. Not much could be more sublime and downright cosmic!
