Wonderful quality edition. I wouldn't want to play from any other. I performed this for a summer chamber program a year ago and it was perfect. Only thing I was shocked to see (considering the obviously high quality and attention to detail) was that on the 2nd page the...

piano bass line failed to print in measures 19 and 20 after the first octave C half notes. The missing notes are a quarter rest and another quarter C, then the following measure is missing two quarter notes (C, C) and a half rest. I wondered if it was just a freak print error in my copy, but if you buy this might be a good idea to check those measure. I don't recall finding any other omitted notes, so again I have a feeling this was a random and unusual error in the copy I received. Regardless, I just penciled in the missing notes and absolutely loved the edition. I'd choose Barenreiter for any of Mozart's pieces.

  • March 07, 2016 Music came with bent edges

This edition was discounted. I ordered it and it arrived with2 "protective" cardboards that were too short to cover the music, so that the pages were all bent on one side. I did contact Shar about it. I received a reply: "I will talk to my manager to see if...

it would be possible to get a partial refund, or credit towards a future purchase. Would you have a preference between the two?" I indicated that I would prefer a partial refund. That was one week ago and I am still waiting to hear back. I have not had a problem with any other orders and have found both the service and delivery time to be very good.

There are many more editions you can choose from, but I would definitely recommend this one: very close to the original one, with not strange bowings or edited phrasing.
