  • December 26, 2010 Mmmm...

It's OK, but all the interesting solos and cool little part that I look forward to hearing in this song are just not there. Wouldn't recommend it, but purchase it if you want.

This arrangement is okay, if you are willing to add some of the more delightful elements back in. The cello part is missing a line off the bottom of one page.

  • February 11, 2008 Not what I expected...

Beware ordering this title. If you are in love with Piazzolla's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires and would jump at the chance to perform it in a small chamber ensemble, look elsewhere! This arrangement cuts out all of the interesting solos and sound effects Piazzolla employs in the original...

to emulate the sounds of spring. Even the reference phrases from the original Vivaldi are gone! I do not recommend this title, especially at $40+ and having half of the original piece missing and the other half butchered.
