i love this book and CD. it is the perfect skill level for me. the pieces have a lot of variety and are fun to listen to and play. the style reminds me of something you might hear while watching a silent movie. i love "Runaway Stagecoach" and "Mystery Movie...

". i am an adult, so i am wanting stuff that doesn't sound baby-ish. this collection definitely does not! at the same time, the tunes are just right for the student who is needing to work on basic two-hands-together skills. i am really glad it has a CD because that helps me know how it is supposed to sound and keeps me interested in the collection.

Lovely, catchy pieces, but should be used in conjunction with the lesson and the theory book of the same number.
