George Gershwin's three most famous preludes demonstrate his genius for piano writing, and portray a variety of styles. Prelude I exudes energetic syncopation, Prelude II is a lyric blues with an ostinato-like accompaniment, and Prelude III closes this set brilliantly with rugged rhythms and exciting syncopations. Arranged for one piano, four hands.

Perfect. Sounds like the real thing.

This arrangement has a few problems with the distribution of notes to each player, making synchronisation something of a chore. Having played the Solo version before, helped. Get a recording by Gershwin on piano to hear what it was conceived as. Great fun for two people.
