    Sydney, Au
    Difficulty Level:
  • March 30, 2010 Very dissapointed

Terrible transcriptions on Chopin's pieces, well everything is relative, this is when i compared them to Tarrega's transcriptions. So much is lost, and there is simply no point of playing these transcriptions, they are simply taking notes from the piano score and putting them onto the guitar score...

, then changing the key to the easiest possible, not taking in the fact that you are writing for guitar.(eg. the Vals are simplistic and in a bad key, even worse than Yates's transcriptions which has some tone colour, the nocturne, no comment, go get tarrega's version and get this one, you'll see...) Also the included CD is terrible.(the score has no fingerings (pima)!a tab won't do anything here). Despite the fact that it has a 2 week lead time! Extremely dissapointed. If you really need chopin's pieces, get other versions, I guarentee you'll be satisfyed more.
