This peice starts off in a mysterious cadenza type solo for the piano 1, untypical for most concertos, joined by the beutiful harmonies and crashing chords that creat the first movement. Moderate difficulty, but tons of fun to play. The second movement is a much more light movement, with bright...

chords and electric melodies giving the listener a feeling of flying at times, and of jumping at others. Moderate Difficulty. The last movement is my favorite. I first performed it when i was 15 and have loved it ever since. The tarantella style and fast left hand arpeggios make this piece a huge feat to take on, but the lush harmonies and the certain dissonances give the third movement a level of maturity not discoverd until way after his time. Advanced Difficulty. Over all this piece is a great one to have fun with, no matter if it is for serious reasons or just to sight read.
