  • June 17, 2010 Excellent For A Beginner/Intermediate Flutist

I am 12 years old and have been playing the flute for 2 1/2 years, and the piccolo for 5 months. When I purchased this, I believed it would be an excellent piece to practice and challenge myself with. When the music arrived, I was disappointed to find that...

unlike other reviews said, the Minuetto in C is fairly easy. The fastest notes are only eighth notes, and there are very few accidentals. The piccolo music is in B Major (G# minor), so therefore it is slightly harder than the flute part. Despite these shortcomings, it is a nice tune, and I would definitely recommend this to a person of beginning or early intermediate level.

    Difficulty Level:
  • May 06, 2006 hard but you learn alot of new notes

if you like advanced sheet music like me you will absolutely love this one!!! its so fun and for us flutes you will learn alot of sharps and flats such as b natural, f sharp, extremely fast 16th notes, c sharp, a natural, g natural, e natural, e flat, and...

many more. I prefere this to even beginners because if you learn it now, you can surprise your band teacher and also you wont have to worry about these notes ahead of time. it would be good for beginners-advanced flutists if you like to be challenged!!! why not take the challenge and play it like me!I played it for my school solo & ensemble and I won a medal and had fun doing it!!!!!!!!!! today i still play it and i have played it so many times i could play the whole song by ear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why not take the challenge like me, but remember to: NEVER GIVE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!, HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AND TAKE THE CHALLENGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
