Michael Praetorius' gorgeous Christmas carol has been beautifully arranged for Brass Quintet by, Scott MacInnes. The Praetorius harmonization is from 1609 and is the most familiar setting of this German hymn, also known as Es ist ein Ros entsprungen.

This arrangement is about 5 minutes in length and is performed below by the Pinnacle Brass from their Christmas recording The Earth Shall Ring!

This work is appropriate for moderately advanced performers and scored for Trumpets in B-flat, Horn in F, Trombone and Tuba.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
