Barenreiter is the best, so I always buy their editions whenever possible. Very legible, laid out well on the page, and scrupulously accurate to the autograph. The hard cover is also very nice. A warning: the page numbers do not match up with previous Barenreiter editions of Finta.A beautiful...

score, with great music to match.

  • July 18, 2007 I love singing Mozart

I have a light soprano voice and it is hard to find arias for my type of voice. However, Mozart wrote roles for my voice. Unfortunatly, I haven't found a book that has arias for only the lighter soprano vioce, or one that has the arias from the lesser...

known operas. So, I bought this score. This German Publisher's scores are pricey, but they are worth it. I bought La Finta Semplice from a different publisher to save money and it only had one out of three of Ninetta's arias. And, I bought La Clemenza di Tito from another different publisher and Servilia's part was written in a clef I've never seen before. Barenreiter has the best scores and are worth the price. I only wish they came in English, not just Italian and German.
