    The theory exercises in this book are well designed for young children and so convenient for the teacher. They slowly increase in difficulty and are a wonderful aid to a teacher with limited time.

    Great resource for students! Starts with staff, line notes, space notes, clef signs, and then Middle C-D-E, and Middle C-B-A. I love using this series as for basic theory and sight-reading, and review musical elements and examples at the lesson with students ages 6+ as...

    they complete the work at home—its fun and clear! The book should be followed by the ScaleSpeller and ChordSpeller in the same series to provide a comprehensive theory course for students. Preferred over other beginning theory texts because it is simple, systematic, and good for practicing/review.
