Oboe, piano (solo: ob - - - str)
Composed by Johann Nepomuk Hummel (1778-1837). Edited by Georg Meerwein. Arranged by Hermann Dechant.

Johann Nepomuk Hummel wrote the Variations presented here around 1825, during his years as Kapellmeister at the court of Weimar.

Classical period. Piano reduction. Breitkopf and Haertel #MR-1200. Published by Breitkopf and Haertel (BR.MR-1200).

Item Number: BR.MR-1200

ISBN 979-0-004-48125-7. 9 x 12 in inches.

The work makes great demands on the soloist and, especially in the more freely fashioned sections, gives him many occasions to display his virtuosity. Of exceptional charm is a section entitled Tempo di Valse which the composer enhanced through two Alternativi.
The edition is based on the autograph score preserved in London's British Museum.
