Arranger Lloyd Larson's straightforward choral setting with piano accompaniment builds to a mighty ending, portraying the power and glory of God.

Our choir sang this Sunday and it was well received. If you enjoy the Gather groups, you will like this.

  • November 15, 2009 Best Gaither performance heard on 11/14/09

I first heard a discussion between Bill and Gloria Gaither about her writing the lyrice and then it was performed by a double quartet? It was the best I have ever heard from The Gaither group. It was performed on the Amazing Grace program on 11/14/09. The piece...

was done reverently and with excellent harmony. I am going to ask our music director to get it for our choir

  • April 17, 2009 Mid-week Lenten service

Our mid-week Lenten services this year were focused on elements of the Lord's Prayer. I selected this title for the lyric of "I then shall live as one who's been forgiven." When getting more familiar with the song, I also found it would have been very appropriate...

for His will be done. This is arranged for SATB + piano, and it was performed with just piano and tenor. I was concerned that the piano arrangement would get too big and schmaltzy for this setting and that the key changes with each verse would be too much, but it actually built very nicely and I give all the credit to my sensitive and talented tenor soloist. Because I was performing as a solo, my only criticism is that I was required to buy 6 copies. Overall, I found this arrangement to be interesting, musical, and very adaptable. It became more rewarding with each pass.

I'm not a musician, but I really love the words to this song and the melody.
