  • August 31, 2011 not quite right

I accidentally brought this thinking it was the original. This is not even a scratch on the original. but a nice try nonetheless.

  • February 18, 2009 Great edition of this piano solo.

It is a simplified edition from the original but a great solo piece. Even thought simplified I would still consider it advanced. Good fingering provided through all 16 pages.

  • July 11, 2007 Ok...

This song wasn't ment to be arranged. They tried there best, but if you're looking for the best one, then get the orringnale! If you havn't played the piano for a long time, and are still learning, don't get this piece, although it is not as...

hard as the orringnale it is still difficult. Some of the noted notes in the song are not noted in the actual thing. If you like orringality, buy Franz Liszt's actual song.

  • September 04, 2006 Won Pageants with this!

This piece is not in the original key, it's in C minor, not C# minor. But it is still challenging and impressive, I have won talent preliminaries and pageants with this piece. I am 15 and have been playing for 10 years, my teacher recommended this version.

  • June 17, 2006 Good, but not great

This edition would be OK for someone who wanted to learn something that is fun to play and to impress friends and family... BUT, if you wanted to learn the peice for serious reasons, such as a recital, or if you were a dedicated pianist / fan of Liszt, you should...

opt for the original. While the general public may think you were a musical genious playing this, a true musician could tell this was a weak clone of the original. Also, though this peice has been simplified, it is still not an easy peice and would take a very good musician to play it fluently. If you have the ability to play this edition very well, you might as well have a go at the original. You'll feel alot prouder and be able to dazzle audiences with the true original!
