  • January 18, 2002 A simpler version of an awesome classic.

    First off, if you're looking for the Shine version of No.2, this is the easier version. The notes are much easier to follow then in some other books I've seen this in. This would be good for someone who wants to play the hard version eventually but...

    isn't quite at that level. To argue what a different reviewer said, you do NOT need large hands, you just need quick ones. Both pieces are very fun to play.

    I am almost finished the 2nd Rhapsody. It is very rewarding to play such a legendary song. Only Liszt could compose such a piece. Full of mind expanding patterns and puzzles. This song will improve a player's teqnique and performance ability no matter how exoerience they are. But before...

    you buy, it consider that you've got to have large hands to play it.
