The hook “He made a way in a manger to make a way for the cross” ties together the two most important events in Christendom. An infectious melody further makes this a tune your people will leave singing as they carry the message with them. Camp Kirkland's choral arrangement and orchestration is stellar, making this one you will want to present time and time again. Available separately: SATB, Orchestra score and parts (fl 1, 2, ob, cl 1, 2, bn [=bcl], tpt 1, 2, 3, hn 1, 2 [=asx 1, 2], tbn 1, 2 [=tsx], tbn 3, tba, timp, perc 1, 2, hp, rhythm, b, dm, vn 1, 2, va, vc, db), ChoirTrax CD. • November 26, 2008 Serene and peaceful in a Manger - beautiful words!

The words are so beautiful and the tune very serene... that pulls at the heart strings! The song has been well written and is aptly suitable for choirs (like the one I direct) that produce a Christmas service with minimal practices. I bought the orchestration too... and would have liked...

a few more tracks broken up in many more places for practice purposes. High quality... worship song for our God.
