    I love this book. The explanation is ok, as i don't have any background i could manage to play the first song. Great thing about it is you can play first the melody before you go over to soloing. The melodies are in easy guitar and the used chords...

    are also the basic ones like C, G, Dm, G, Am, Em & F. Except some songs later in the book but the chord forms are written above every chord change as reference. Just a accompanied cd would be nice. The used songs are very beautiful.

    it is a nice book to work from. either to play the songs solo or sing and play the accompaniment. the first songs are a bit old-fashioned but very usefull for the finger picking technic. songs like Blackbird or Every Breath You Take are very well explained.
