The Welch tune "Llanfair" (c. 1817) translates roughly to "the church of St. Mary." Words by Charles Wesley has made this popular hymn an Easter favorite. This upbeat, contemporary arrangement takes full advantage of the lyrical and rhythmic qualities of the brass quintet. The arrangement is in the form of a Festival Prelude, in which each verse gets its own unique setting of this triumphant melody. Perfect for Easter Sunday, or any church service. Performance time, 3:15. Published by Dorm 40 Music, .

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. We are using this piece to usher in Palm Sunday worship and the Children's Palm Processional. It will set the exact right spirit for this celebration. We're not using the middle section when it changes from 4/4 to 3/4. That part is a little campy.
