Tabs are in error throughout. If the song requires a Capo 3rd fret, an open string will be tabbed "3", which is ridiculous.

I agree with another reviewer, the tabs are useless. Tabs indicate absolute fret position relative to the nut, not to the capo position. This requires every song that is capoed to be translated by the user. A big waste of time, and I eventually just threw it away.

I am disappointed and frustrated with the format of this book. I have to copy each arragement completely over to make it readable. Notation and tablature SHOULD NOT be affected by where the capo is placed. When a capo is put on a guitar, it becomes the nut. Frets above...

the capo no longer exist. "You've Got A Friend" calls for a capo on the second fret. The first note is written as concert A, 6th string, 5th fret, but should be written as G, 6th string, 3rd fret. Open strings should be 0 but they put a 2 because the capo is on the 2nd fret?????

This is a really great acoustic guitar tablature book! I would highly recommend this one to anyone who wants to play some challenging, but very fun songs. I think that these are very authentic tabs. I would just suggest that before one discredits the authenticity of these tabs, he would...

look a the bottom left corner of every page that begins a song. Below the last line of music it tells you when and where you should put a capo. I have been playing guitar for about 2.5 years, and this is some great stuff for quiet evening either at home or a little coffee shop!

I've played a lot of acoustic guitar, and i am doubtful about the authenticity of many of the tabs in this book. I know for a fact that You've got a Friend is wrong, because Taylor plays it with a capo. Taylor plays most of his other songs...

with a capo too, however most of the songs in this book do not use a capo. This only makes the songs more difficult to play, and it also makes the chords more difficult.
