    I bought this book years ago, and it's one of those books that I can still take out, run through the songs, and still enjoy them. The arrangements are very musical, and a lot of them sound very rich (especially if you can play them on a good instrument...

    ). My favorite arrangements are 'Georgia on my Mind', 'Don't Get Around Much Anymore', 'Ain't Misbehavin', and 'Taking a Chance on Love'. I don't think any of the music is particularly hard, but they are definitely fun.

    I absouluty love this book! The songs chosen for this book are good. The arangements are amazing and not missing any notes. There is room in the songs to do your own compping, such as "Taking A Chance On Love" which I have added my own riffs to it. I...

    also did some on "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" and "Georgia On My Mind". I would definatly get this book if you like jazz!

  • March 16, 2007 awesome arrangements

    This book is full of great songs and the arrangements are rock-solid. Some are harder than others but none of these take a whole lot of practice from a decent player. Great book for dinner parties or just your own enjoyment!
