    Difficulty Level:

This is my favorite duet book so far to use with intermediate students. The student parts are not very difficult (maybe even early intermediate), but the challenge comes when the teacher plays the more intricate part and the student has to keep up rhythm. Almost every song sounds fantastic when...

played together, which encourages the student to play, and leaves them excited when the last note sounds. For added difficulty, the student can play the teacher part.

A.N. White (a virtuoso piano player)
    Difficulty Level:
  • July 07, 2002 Cute Songs!

The songs in here are not popular, the composers are unknown, but all the duets ( with the exception of a couple that are solemn but beautiful) are extremely sweet and cheery with names like "Bicycle" and "The Sleepy Boy", lighthearted, but they are difficult enough, and long enough, to give...

them a certain richness too. I strongly recommend this book if you're looking for great songs that audiences are always eager to hear! (I played many of these duets with my younger sister at piano recitals in bygone days. The people loved them!)
