Set of Parts Cello; String Duet; Viola (Viola and Violoncello)
Viola and Violoncello Set of Parts. Composed by Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827). Edited by Emil Platen. Sheet music. Paperbound. Henle Music Folios. Classical. Softcover. 18 pages. G. Henle #HN944. Published by G. Henle (HL.51480944).

Item Number: HL.51480944

ISBN 9790201809441. 9.25x12.0x0.075 inches.

Beethoven probably originally planned a complete string duo with four movements. Aside from the introductory movement, a minuet has also survived that is likewise published here. Our single edition, taken from the established volume "String Trios and String Duos" (HN192), will certainly secure many new friends for this original work.

Take a close look at the sample pages before you order this “critical” edition. Notice the lack of bowings and articulations and the complete absence of dynamics. No slurs, no dots, no accents, no sfs, no nuthin’! Too bad the Peters edition is back ordered everywhere
