Bells are associated with the holiday season as well as celebratory and inspirational tributes and events. This song will be your favorite choral imitating the ring and sound of bells. Polyphonic and homophonic sections play off each other and add to the diverse sound. An optional section allows two choirs to sing together in both musical styles. Simplistic singing builds to majestic singing, then fades away like bells in a steeple chiming in falling snow. Now two-part ensembles can enjoy this memorable choral with an optional piano accompaniment. What cannot be sung by the two voices is now provided by the piano accompaniment. However, if used as an a cappella piece, the flavor and excitement are still there for the singers and audience. Available separately: SATB, unaccompanied; SSAA, unaccompanied, SSAB, unaccompanied; 2-part, accompanied, PianoTrax CD 2009 (35016961).

My students are enjoying learning this. We are a 7-8 Choir which only meets once a week; however many of our members have other musical experience. They are excited about Ding-a Ding-a Ding. I order the two-part because of our limited learning time. However, I wish...

I had order the SAB. This is because the two-part also has a descant AND a 5-part section with descant plus each part split. I think a three-part would be simpler to learn than a 2-part with some 3-parts with some 4-parts with some 5-parts. STILL A COOL SONG!

For the first time I learnt this fantastic music at the Christmas concert in CDIS school. School kids can practice this song in the chorus. I like the artist Greg Gilpin as he produced many beautiful songs for kids.
