The book travelled safely across the USA all the way to Devon, England - almost as far as the dark side of the moon. I have bought several in the Hal Leonard bass series, and have found them to be authentic and reliable. This one was no exception.

  • August 28, 2011 Fantastic book for bassists.

This book really helps students to learn the bass lines for this superb classic album almost exactly as Pink Floyd wrote them.

EXCELLENT, bass notes are 100% exact as the record, unlike others I have purchased.

  • September 11, 2006 decent.... but typo's exist

The tabs that are in this book are about 98 to 99 percent correct when played along with the album. I actually found a few mistakes, which I wouldn't come to expect from an authentic tab book. All the mistakes I found were notes not transcribed correctly on tab...

from the sheet music (i.e. 7 is right fret, but on the wrong string), and this happens almost once per song at least. I found only one mistake note-wise, in Speak to me/Breath, there's an F# whole note (2nd string, 4th fret) that should be an F natural (2nd string, 3rd fret), but that was all that I saw wrong note-wise. All of the other errors were typographical, so I think this book needs to be edited once more, and it shouldn't be hard, because I fixed it all in mine. But overall, if you're smart enough to find the errors between the music and the tab and correct them with white-out and a pencil as I did, it's a good book to have. If there weren't typo's I'd give it 5 stars, but I just expect more from offical song books.
