    To me Haydn hasn't receive the recognition that some of the other composers have received during his era or even today. The Concerto in D is a good example. It is a lively piece that keeps your interest throughout all three movements and is not too difficult to play...

    . The second movement is romantic and beautiful. While most probably have heard this played with an orchestra this publication is written for two pianos. For a single piano I filled in the rest areas (for piano #1) with the music from the second piano and it makes for a very nice concerto. You can play this concerto at different tempos and it still sounds good.
