This title ahs something for everyone, as a beginniner I used it to play my first recital pieces, but now as a more advanced player have fun with excerpts like- "Flight of the Bumblebee." ....the accompaniment sounds good from my exp. with some of the excerpts, and isn't too...

hard for the standard pianist. A good buy & investment!!

  • March 19, 2005 Great companion to the flute solo book

I have played several of the flute solos from this book (see my review for the flute solo book) and when I was accompanied by a pianist, the piano arrangement seemed easy to follow, fit well with the piece being played and was not overly intricate for the accompanist. Even...

a less experienced pianist could play these well-arranged accompaniments well.
