  • April 08, 2012 An Excellent telling of the Easter Story

    We have just performed this cantata as the centre piece of our Easter Day service. Everyone was moved and impressed. This cantata is within the reach of the average church choir, we had 14, and is an excellent blend of good tunes, themes from well known hymns and narrative linking...

    the whole together. A first class telling of the Easter Story. Just a pity Cindy Berry doesn't seem to have done more.

  • January 19, 2009 Pleasing to sing as well as hear.

    This will be the third year that we have done this cantata with an ecumenical community choir- some very knowlegeable voices, but mostly people who just enjoy singing. The four parts are beautifully written and at times gives me "goosebumps" when it all comes together as it is supposed to...
