The title of this book is misleading. I ordered the book hoping that I could play the clarinet part, my daughter could play the flute part, and we could have someone else play the piano part. I was saddened that the book only has flute and piano duets, nothing for...

the clarinet. I guess a clarinet could play a solo with no accompanist but that defeats the whole purpose of having a book that says it's for flute and clarinet with piano. I did want to note that all the flute songs with piano accompanist are beautiful and perfect for a special Christmas number.

So happy to have the music available for both flute & clarinet...Lloyd Larson is a favorite for pairing accompaniments to the soloist. I want all his arrangements! My favorites in this book: "O Holy Night" & "Pat-a-Pan"

I was excited to order this book because I loved the music sample for flute. The pieces in this are challenging and beautiful. I am only giving this 3 stars because I think the book title is misleading as it says "solos for flute and clarinet". There are NO solos...

for clarinet in this book. It includes only music for flute with a piano accompanist. My daughter plays flute and I play clarinet so I was thrilled to find music this beautiful for both of us to play. However, I was disappointed that only the flute includes the piano accompanist part and the clarinet I guess just plays solo. I will have to look for a different book which will allow me to play my clarinet with a piano accompanist.

Piano accomp is great with well written songs.
