This book is more advanced than the first book which makes it a welcome addition for players in Suzuki books 2 and 3. The music is varied and interesting. Students can learn new rhythmic patterns and articulations. The variety of major and minor keys and modes is a valuable challenge...

for early readers. Harmony parts can be more difficult than the melody line and should be used. I like to change the mix with every verse and use the lower voices for melody frequently.
