When I started over studying the piano my sister sent me lots of Chopin's works. How could have I not payed some attention to the G minor ballade my sister put for a mistake into the envelope? Performing the first page was as simple as touching. I can't...

forget a sense of fluid eyes and a knot in the throat. But as soon as I got to the 2nd page the fight began. Now I finally succeded performing the ballade as a selftaught. All that I could play before were a few easy pieces by Mozart and Bach. Power of the ballade...

The ballades of chopin are his among his most beautiful and mature pieces. The edition is wonderful as well as the binding. The best ballades are his Premeire and Quatrieme ballades

4th ballades and am working on the 1st one, something I've always dreamed of doing. I found some of the fingerings and editings to be a little bizarre and dubious, but that aside these are truly wonderful songs that everyone needs to get to know.
