This wonderful small work was originally intended for Harmonium, which is why I bought it. Well within the grasp of any semi professional group, Dvorak has written a gem well worth the work and practice. Consisting of five movements, no more than 12-14 minutes, it shows Dvorak's gift...

for the small genre. I also bought about 5 different versions on CD and find it best when taken in a relaxed tempo, but not too slow. The melody is engaging and memorable and truly the harmonium ( Reed Organ ) part needs to be heard and allowed its part in this piece.
