Sleepers awake, English name for the chorale cantata Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme, regarded as one of most mature and popular sacred cantatas by Johann Sebastian Bach, based on the homonymous hymn  by Philipp Nicolai (1599).
Sleepers awake is the fourth movement ("Zion hört die Wächter singen") of BWV 140. Bach later transcribed this movement for organ (BWV 645).
For classical Guitar solo. Early Intermediate to intermediate.

    Very well done transcription with careful left hand fingering. I prefer this arrangement over those in C because here you can add a capo at the first fret and play it in the original key while keeping a useful low Eb on the sixth string. Also you may work on...

    it and make few minor changes according to your own preferences and to the Schübler score: anyway this version flows beautifully as it is.The music of J.S. Bach in never easy peasy :) so I rate it intermediate.
